The Broward County Bar Association would like to assist in the Haitian Earthqake Relief effort by encouraging members to consider making a donation to the American Red Cross.
We are providing the link below to the main Red Cross webpage ,where you can read more the disaster relief effort .
The Red Cross is also accepting donations via cellphone by texting by texting "Haiti" to 90999.

The magnitude of this disaster will effect South Florida residents for some time to come. Please email to artg@browardbar.org your thoughts and comments and ideas.
The BCBA will be happy to publicize your efforts on behalf of Earthquake Disaster Relief. Due to the changing nature of the need for assistance in Haiti and for Haitians in South Florida who need legal assistance, we are open to considering new program ideas as to how to offer long term assistance.

Re: Dade County Bar Association Immigration Solutions for Haitian Families in Crisis Webinar
The Dade County Bar Association Immigration Law Committee will present its first live webinar, Immigration Solutions for Haitian Families in Crisis, on March 18, 2010 from 1-4 p.m. at the Dade County Courthouse Ceremonial Courtroom 6-1. The cost to attend for member and non-members, physical or virtual attendance is $40. The first 100 registrants can attend at NO COST in person at the Dade County Courthouse, Courtroom 6-1 or via the Internet Webinar if they agree to accept a Pro Bono Case. THE FLORIDA BAR'S HAITI RELIEF EFFORTS
The people of Haiti still need our help. The Florida Bar has expanded its Haiti Relief Efforts to include the charitable money-raising foundations of 19 non-profit Florida trauma centers that have in some way assisted earthquake victims. This expansion will allow you to assist with The Florida Bar's Haiti Relief Efforts locally. Donations can be made to individual non-profit centers' foundations through the links below.
