The Broward County Bar Association, a not-for-profit organization, was founded in 1925 to foster courtesy, ethics, and professionalism among Broward County lawyers, to educate the citizens of Broward County on their legal rights, and to provide necessary legal services to Broward County’s residents.

2014 New Attorney Orientation Breakfast (30 photos) ... See MoreSee Less

Today, Broward County Bar Association hosted our Second Annual New Attorney Breakfast Orientation. Legal Aid - Coast to Coast and various Voluntary Bar Association's including the BCWLA, SBBA, BCCLA, TJ Reddick, APBA, Hispanic Bar, Carribiean Bar and GLLN had information tables available for the new attorney's. Andrea Gundersen was chairperson for the event. Attendees mingled and then were addressed by Chief Judge Weinstein and the panel of judges including Judge Hope Bristol, Judge Renee Goldenberg, Judge Martin Bidwill, Judge Jack Tuter, and Judge Robert Lee. The judges spoke of professionalism standards to maintain during the practice of law. The event concluded with a courthouse tour. Thank you Kathy Pugh, Court Administrator, for assisting in this event. A very special thank you to our event sponsor, Andy Sokol of CopyScan.
