Alina is an Assistant State Attorney for the 17th Judicial Circuit in Broward County. She serves in the elder abuse special unit, prosecuting crimes of physical abuse against the elderly and most vulnerable. She was admitted to the bar in 2019 and has been a member of the Young Lawyers Section of the Broward County Bar Association since. She is also a member of the Broward County Hispanic Bar Association and serves on the elder abuse task force. Alina joined the YLS board of directors in 2022 and currently is the only member from the government sector. In her free time, Alina enjoys hanging out with family and friends, exercising, and traveling with her husband.
It has been such a privilege to serve on the YLS board for the 2022-2023 year. During my time on the board, I assisted in coordinating breakfast with the judiciary, bootcamp, as well as attending and participating in our many events from the annual golf tournament to holiday in February. Being on the board has taught me that there is so much more to just being an attorney. The impact we can make on our community through our service makes a difference. From monetary donations to our time and effort, I have seen how much we can do and how far we can go. It would be an honor to remain on the board and continue to serve.
