Amanda L. Decker

My name is Amanda L. Decker and I am a Shareholder at Florida Entrepreneur Law, P.A. I am graciously seeking your support for re-election to continue my service on the Board of Directors of the Young Lawyers Section of the Broward County Bar Association. Having been an active member of the YLS since passing the Bar in 2018 and serving on the Board of Directors for the last year, I’ve had the privilege of participating in and contributing to the growth of the YLS and its positive impact on young lawyers and the local and legal community. Although this last year presented some unique challenges (thanks Covid!), the YLS was able to pivot and get creative on ways we could continue serving the young lawyers and spread positivity throughout our community. During my term on the Board of Directors, I served as the YLS’ Social Media Committee Chair, volunteered for the YLS Lawyers for Literacy program where I read to elementary students to promote literacy at a young age, and was involved with several other events and community engagements including socials and fundraisers. It would be an honor to continue serving as a Director of the YLS. Thank you for your consideration and vote.
