My name is Angelo J. Gasparri and I am a real estate attorney in Shutts & Bowen LLP’s Fort Lauderdale office. Prior to entering private practice, I clerked at the Florida Supreme Court and attended the Florida State University College of Law where I served as an editor on both the Law Review and Business Review, contributed as a research assistant to Dean Emeritus Donald Weidner, and was honored to have been recognized with the Distinguished Pro Bono Service Award. I am also a South Florida native and am proud to have secured a Florida state championship with my high school football team.
The Young Lawyers Section of the Broward County Bar has been supportive of my own professional growth. Upon returning to South Florida, YLS became instrumental in providing volunteer and social opportunities, notably Lawyers for Literacy, which have deeply enriched my connection to the Broward County legal community. Now, I am eager to pay it forward by extending similar opportunities to new members and amplifying engagement among current members. My vision is to foster communication, fortify existing relationships, and champion inclusivity for all who aspire to contribute to the Broward County legal community.
