2020 certainly did not pan out as expected. My goal for the year was to immerse myself in the legal community and attend as many events as I possibly could. Welp, COVID took care of that. This year, assuming we continue on this slow but steady, albeit uncertain path to some semblance of normalcy, my goal remains the same. I desire to get out of the zoom meetings, and zoom happy hours and actually interact with other humans. I want to offer myself, my knowledge, and my services to the legal community and the community as a whole. I want to better understand where we, as YLS Board of Directors, can help not only younger attorneys navigate this confusing and sometimes daunting field, but to also best understand how to serve the underrepresented and vulnerable residents of South Florida.
