Brandon Arzabe

My name is Brandon Arzabe and I am a trial lawyer at Lytal, Reiter, Smith, Ivey, & Fronrath. My legal practice is dedicated to personal injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, nursing home negligence, and products liability. I graduated from Nova Southeastern University in 2017 and have been practicing in Broward County since being admitted to the Florida Bar that same year.

I have never served on the YLS board; however, I am currently serving as an elected Board Member for the Florida Justice Association Young Lawyers Section. The FJA is a statewide organization with thousands of members dedicated to strengthening and upholding Florida’s civil justice system. I am also an active member of the Broward County Trial Lawyers Association, the Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce, Inns of Court, and the Broward County Lawyer/Law Student Flag Football League.

I am running for a board position because I would like to get more involved with the Broward County Bar Association, give back to the legal community, and help improve the practice of law within Broward County. A large part of what the Young Lawyers Section does requires fundraising and sponsorships. Being a Nova grad and living and working in Broward County for many years has allowed me to form meaningful relationships with various lawyers and businesses, which I believe I could use to benefit the Young Lawyers Section. My law firm encourages community involvement, has a very large charity/sponsorship budget, and would certainly help sponsor future YLS events. In addition to being able to fundraise, I can also help connect young lawyers with older, more experienced lawyers and judges for mentorship and career opportunities. I volunteer throughout the year at various NSU law events and maintain contacts with the NSU administration. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve as a board member and look forward to working alongside the other board members if elected.
