I am seeking your support to serve as a Director of the Broward County Bar Young Lawyers Section.
My experience makes me particularly well-suited to represent a broad cross-section of young lawyers in Broward County. I have served in leadership positions in various organizations, including serving as current President of the Gwen S. Cherry Black Women Lawyers Association and a former Director of Miami-Dade FAWL.
Having worked in both the public and private sectors, I understand the unique needs of government lawyers. I also understand the critical importance of having diverse, qualified leadership at every table. In my organizational leadership roles, I have collaborated with a number of organizations to respond to the ever-evolving needs of young lawyers from all practice areas, and to tackle the dearth of diverse leadership in our profession. As a Director of the YLS, I hope to continue working to advance these objectives.
