Lilli S. Balik

Statement

I am currently a member of the Board of Directors for the Young Lawyers Section of the BCBA. I have sat on the Board since 2020 and have loved all of the events we have hosted as well as all the networking and outreach opportunities YLS has allowed me to have in our community. During this past year, I have participated in the Lawyers for Literacy program, created YLS’ TikTok page, and helped to plan social events.

I am excited for what the next year brings and look forward to the opportunity to continue to dedicate my time and resources to YLS to better both the Board, and our legal community at large. I am committed to remaining an active member of the Board, and to continue contributing to the well-being of our legal community.

Bio

Lilli Balik is a Partner at Kelley Kronenberg, where she assists in handling matters related to first-party insurance defense.

Prior to joining the firm, Lilli worked as an Attorney where she gained experience representing clients in Fair Housing Act and ADA Title III claims. She also worked for a general litigation practice where she drafted an Appellate Brief.

Lilli earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Barnard College of Columbia University in Sociology. She then went on to earn her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Miami, School of Law. While in law school, Lilli worked as a Judicial Intern for the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida and as a Legal Intern for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. She also earned Dean’s List recognition and was the recipient of the John F. Evans Memorial Scholarship for her excellence in trial advocacy.

Lilli is proficient in French.
