I remain dedicated to YLS and would love to serve as Treasurer this upcoming year. During my three years on the Board and one as Secretary, I have shown my ambition and organization in all the events I chaired and to which I contributed. Last year my greatest role was creating and heading the Annual Charity Golf Tournament in its virtual format due to the unprecedented restrictions from Covid-19. While we missed the day-long event with friends and colleagues, the event was still a success for our Board, our sponsors, and our golfers. I look forward to our in-person 2021 tournament which I have begun planning. I also look forward to leading Breakfast with the Judiciary again, and have made the event more affordable to young lawyers seeking valuable time with our judges.
As we return to a more normal lifestyle, we’ve all learned how valuable our time is and have the opportunity to choose which events to reincorporate. We need to identify the events people want to put their limited time towards. This coming year I will continue strengthening our connections with local organizations to make each of our events more impactful in our community. It would be an honor to lead YLS as Treasurer and have a greater role in ensuring that we excel as an organization.
