The Young Lawyers Section (“YLS”) of the Broward County Bar Association strives to stimulate the interest of attorneys in the objectives of the Broward County Bar Association, and to promote professional and social understanding and cooperation among the Broward County legal community. The YLS contributes to the educational and professional advancement of attorneys, particularly those under age 36, while also contributing to the betterment of the Broward County community in general through charity functions and projects. The Young Lawyers Section has several annual events including Holiday in January, the Judicial Reception, Bowl-A-Thon, and our largest event, a Golf Tournament each Fall. The YLS also hold monthly luncheons that highlight prominent business people and leaders in the Broward County community, and monthly board meetings to ensure our agenda is on point with our objectives. Our luncheons and events are open to all, not just YLS members. Please take a look at our Calendar of Events for more information.
To be eligible for membership in The YLS, an attorney must be under the age of 36 or in their first 5 years of practice as a Florida Bar member.
