BRUCE A. BLITMAN, a longtime member of the Broward County Bar Association and resident of Broward County, was recently elected to the Dr. Nan S. Hutchison Broward Senior Hall of Fame. Blitman, who has been a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit, Family and County Court Mediator for almost thirty years, was recognized for his ten years of exemplary volunteerism and hours contributed to the Broward community. He is one of this year’s ten honorees, between the ages of 61 and 93, who joined the ranks of the past 412 electees at the 35th Annual Dr. Nan S. Hutchison Broward Senior Hall of Fame Breakfast, which took place during Older Americans Month, on Friday, May 4, 2018, at the Renaissance Plantation Hotel. Broward residents, age 60 and older, who have dedicated more than five years volunteering their precious time in the county, are eligible for nomination into this elite group of community advocates. Each year, the Aging & Disability Resource Center of Broward County, coordinates this induction ceremony, which honors elder excellence in the volunteer sector of Broward County.
Blitman relocated to Palm Beach County in April, 2017 and continues to work and volunteer in Broward and Palm Beach Counties.
