As of January 1, 2020, HB 409, “Electronic Legal Documents” was signed into law amending Fla.Stat. 115.05 (pertaining to Notary Publics in Florida). This allows for the State of Florida to participate in Remote Online Notarization (RON). The full online notarization law is provided in Fla.Stat. 117.201 et seq.
Information regarding the process: Online notarization is a MEMBER ONLY benefit; the price of the service is $15 for the first notarization in a document, and $10 for subsequent notarizations within the same document.
